During Monica’s 28 years of practice, she has helped a diverse client base ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small and emerging high growth companies, including mid-market portfolio companies of private equity funds. Her experience in complex domestic and international licenses, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate formations enables her to provide legal support on a variety of transaction types.

In addition, Monica has successfully drafted, negotiated, reviewed, and revised a wide range of agreements for her medical device clients, including supply, non-disclosure, consulting, master services, material transfer, research and development, distribution, joint venture, clinical trial, business associate, advisory board, GPO, and IDN agreements.

Monica has worked as in-house counsel at United States Surgical Corporation and Tyco Healthcare, and has represented Tyco Healthcare/Covidien and other medical device companies as an outside extension of their respective in-house legal departments. Monica began her legal practice at a medium-sized law firm in Fairfield County.

Monica received her J.D. cum laude from the University of Connecticut School of Law (1991) and her Bachelors of Arts degree magna cum laude from Fairfield University (1988).

Monica is admitted to practice in Connecticut.
