Kim Perry has over twenty four years of experience providing counsel to clients in the medical device industries on intellectual property matters. She has experience as both in-house intellectual property counsel as well as in private practice.
As in-house IP counsel at leading medical device companies such as Tyco Healthcare, Covidien, and Medtronic, Kim was responsible for the creation of numerous patent portfolios across a wide array of technologies including mechanical and electrosurgical devices.
Previously, Kim was an associate at an established New Jersey-based law firm that specialized in intellectual property. In private practice, she assisted a variety of clients ranging from startups to global corporations with the development and protection of intellectual property assets.
Kim earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School Cum Laude and her B.E. from The Cooper Union.
