Jacqueline Nguyen

Jacqueline’s practice focuses on patent prosecution and strategic IP counseling across various fields, such as medical devices, life sciences, industrial materials, and mechanical and consumer products, including cosmetics and hair-care formulations.

Jacqueline has advised Fortune 500 companies and emerging start-ups on patentability assessments, freedom-to-operate and non‑infringement opinions, validity opinions, and IP due diligence. She has also developed inter partes review (IPR) and post grant review (PGR) strategies for proceedings at the USPTO’s Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). Jacqueline combines technical insight and prosecution experience to develop patent portfolios that align with business goals and commercialization strategies.

Prior to joining Farber LLC, Jacqueline worked at IP law firms handling patent matters for clients across the healthcare, materials science, and consumer products sectors. Jacqueline received her Juris Doctorate from the George Mason University School of Law and her B.S. in Biology from Marymount University. She is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is admitted in the District of Columbia.

Jacqueline has been recognized as “Ones to Watch in America” for Intellectual Property Law (Best Lawyers, 2026) and as a “Rising Star” for patent prosecution by Super Lawyers (2021–2025). Jacqueline serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Intellectual Property Firms (AIPF) and is Treasurer of the Vietnamese American Bar Association, D.C. Chapter.
